WHEN THIS SERVICE FITS

Land clearing with the next stage in mind.

Residential lots & building footprints

Clear the agreed work area and remove specified stumps and roots before the next phase of construction preparation. Retained trees and clearing boundaries are identified first.

Driveways & property access

Open a route and plan the related excavation, grading, dirt spreading, and culvert work where included. The ground conditions and intended use guide the scope.

Farms & larger properties

Remove unwanted trees and brush from defined areas for property improvements. Some areas may need excavation while surrounding land is better suited to forestry mulching.

Commercial sites & property improvements

Plan clearing and site work around the project footprint, access, material handling, and required finish. We quote the specific phases rather than assuming acreage alone defines the job.

A CLEAR SCOPE

What is included in a land clearing quote?

Clearing vegetation and completing a finished construction pad are different stages. Your quote should explain which stages are included, how debris will be handled, and what the property will look like when our work is complete.

  1. Agree on the clearing limits.

Review the property, intended use, trees to keep, access, and known obstacles. The excavator, track loader, and attachments are selected for the work.

  2. Clear, excavate, and manage debris.

Remove vegetation and excavate specified stumps and roots. Haul-off, material processing, or permitted on-site disposal is agreed in the scope rather than assumed.

  3. Complete the quoted site work.

Backfilling, grading, drainage, dirt spreading, erosion control, and culvert installation can be included where appropriate. Additional equipment is brought in when the scope calls for it.

PROJECT PRICING

What affects land clearing cost?

A quote for cutting brush covers different work than a quote for clearing trees, excavating stumps, removing debris, and grading. T3 reviews the whole job so your price matches the scope and finished result.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Land Clearing questions.

Does land clearing include stump removal?

Stump and root excavation can be included, but it needs to be identified in the quote. Stump grinding reduces the stump body and generally leaves roots; excavation removes specified stumps and roots from the ground. We recommend the approach based on your intended use.

Can you haul away the trees and brush?

Debris haul-off can be included in your project quote. Material volume, access, disposal requirements, and travel affect the work. Any on-site processing or disposal must be agreed and suitable for the property.

Can you clear only part of my property?

Yes. We can define a building area, driveway, access route, or other work zone while preserving agreed trees and perimeter areas. Clearing limits and retained trees should be identified before work begins.

Would forestry mulching cost less for my property?

It may be a practical option when the goal is brush management and the mulch can stay on site. If you need stumps and roots excavated for the final use, mulching alone will not complete that work. We can recommend clearing, mulching, or a combination after reviewing your plans.
